KICK OFF MEETING & PRESS CONFERENCE IN KRESNA

On 26th June 2019 was held a press conference of the "Mobile Biodiversity" in Kresna, after the project kick off meeting.

The project is funded by INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 Cooperation Program.

The leading organization is the municipality of Kresna (Bulgaria), in partnership with Students Media World Association (Bulgaria), municipality of Paggaio (Greece) and D.E.P.AN. City Network (Greece). The main objective of the project is to analyze and improve the status of the biodiversity in the habitats of the municipalities of Kresna and Paggaio. The project duration is 24 months.

The work packages cover various project management and coordination activities, visualization and dissemination activities, assessment of biodiversity and development of a joint strategy, the creation of a mobile museum and educational center, as well as the creation of a virtual biodiversity training center.

Representatives of all project partners, many guests and citizens of the municipality attended the press conference.

The project is implemented in the framework of the INTERREG VA Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 Cooperation Programme and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and by national funds of the countries participating.
